As reported by Andy Morales of AZPreps365, Desert Speed School athlete and Mica Mountain senior wide receiver/safety Jake Johnson was part of the Bolts state championship win on Friday night. Mica won its first football title despite only being in existence as a program for four years – and did so in dominating fashion, winning the title game 42-13 over 2nd-ranked AZ College Prep. Johnson helped get the offense started early in the game, as his pass reception in the first quarter helped set up the first touchdown of the game for the explosive Mica offense. Full story…
