State T&F Meet: 10 Athletes Qualify

The AIA State Championship Track Meet continues with prelims this week, and a total of 10 Desert Speed School athletes have qualified for the meet. The list is headlined by Salpointe junior Kylie Wild, the defending 1600m and 3200m champion. Those competing for a state title include:

Kylie Wild, Salpointe – 800m, 1600m, 3200m

Michael Urbanski, Salpointe – 800m, 1600m, 3200m

Paden Hall, Catalina Foothills – 200m, 400m, 4x400m

Alexis Saffer, Catalina Foothills – 100h, 300h

Kyle Cagno, Catalina Foothills – 4x400m

Cody Rafacz, Pusch Ridge – 200m

Luis Zaragoza, Salpointe – 110h

Gabriela Dabdoub, Salpointe – High Jump

Emarie Sooter, Sabino – Pole Vault

Ava Sooter, Sabino – Pole Vault

State Championship finals will be held on Saturday, May 14th.
