Desert Speed School athletes Benji Thomas and Sasha Ganem – both track athletes for Salpointe – recently took 1st in their respective events at the Mountain View Invitational. Thomas’ 1st place finishes in the 800m and 4x800m helped his boys’ team to a 2nd place overall finish; while Ganem and her relay team took 1st in the 4×100 en route to a team 1st-place finish.
