Three Desert Speed School athletes are among the top runners returning for the 2022 cross-country season, according to Andy Morales of AllSportsTucson. The list is highlighted by Salpointe senior Kylie Wild, the two-time defending state champion who is coming off three gold medals in the 2022 track state championship meet. Fellow Lancer Michael Urbanski was also named a top returner on the boys side.
Two-way soccer/XC standout Chloe Thome, a senior at CDO, was also listed as a runner to watch this season.
