Timpf honored by Army

Speed School athlete Jeremy Timpf, one of most consistent players for the Army football team, was honored with the Creighton W. Adams Memorial Award – given annually to the team’s captains. Timpf has received recognition throughout the season for his play on the field for the Black Knights, starting with his pre-season selection on various All-American lists, along with his inclusion on the watch list for the Bednarik Award, given to the nation’s top linebacker.

In a local twist, Timpf’s teammate and fellow Tucsonan Edgar Poe (Cienega) was selected as Army’s MVP. See more…
