Desert Speed School athletes Kylie Wild and Benji Thomas were both scorers for the Salpointe girls’ and boys’ teams that recorded strong finishes at the State Championship meet recently. Wild – just a freshman – was 5th overall, helping the girls to a 2nd-place team finish. Thomas, meanwhile, was 24th overall, the top scorer for his boys’ team that finished 4th in the team standings.
