As reported by Andy Morales of AZPreps365, Desert Speed School athletes EC Cazares and Emma Veliz led the scoring for Salpointe in a 2-0 semifinal win over defending champs Walden Grove on Wednesday night. Cazares scored on a PK (29′) for the first goal of the game, and Veliz assisted to Cazares for the second (50′). The win puts the Lancers in the state championship, where they will face top-seeded Prescott on Saturday. Full story…
