Three Desert Speed School players were among those recognized by AllSportsTucson for their performances on the field in Week 5 of the high school football season. On the offensive side of the ball, Catalina Foothills’ Henry Nentl had 103 yards receiving for the Falcons, while Tanque Verde’s Gavin Gilbert had 101 yards rushing for the Hawks. A two-way star for Tanque Verde, Gilbert also had 11 tackles on defense, including 4 tackles for loss.
Meanwhile, Salpointe linebacker Thomas Regina made a repeat appearance on the Top Performers List after notching 6 tackles for the Lancers, including one tackle for loss, one sack, and a fumble recovery.
