A pair of Desert Speed School athletes were recognized by AllSportsTucson for their performances on the field this past week. Senior Foothills’ linebacker Bobby Heitzinger was honored for his defensive play after notching 12 tackles and a sack for the Falcons in their 31-12 win over Pueblo. On the offensive side of the ball, Empire receiver Cody Pacheco was recognized after a huge game in which he amassed 241 yards receiving to go along with 4 touchdowns for the Ravens in their win over Nogales.
