T&F Results: Wild Wins 3 State Titles

Desert Speed School athlete and defending state champion Kylie Wild had a dominating performance in the state meet recently, picking up three gold metals and helping lead her Salpointe girls team to the team title. Wild won the 1600m and 3200m events for her individual titles, added a runner-up finish in the 800m, and ran on the state champion 4×800 team for the Lancers.

Speed School athletes placing in the finals for the state meet included:

Kylie Wild, Salpointe – 1st (1600m), 1st (3200m), 1st (4×800), 2nd (800m), 1st (Team Title)

Kylee Callahan, Salpointe – 2nd (4×100), 1st (Team Title)

Michael Urbanski, Salpointe – 3rd (1600m), 3rd (3200m)

Emarie Sooter, Sabino – 3rd (Pole Vault)

Ava Sooter, Sabino – 4th (Pole Vault)

Paden Hall, Catalina Foothills – 6th (4×400)

Kyle Cagno, Catalina Foothills – 6th (4×400)
