Desert Speed School athlete and beach volleyball standout Miranda Erro has verbally committed to the University of Arizona, according to Andy Morales of AllSportsTucson. The commitment will reunite her at the UofA with beach volleyball partner Abby Russell, a pairing that took 2nd at AVP America earlier this year. Full story…

Salpointe Boys, Girls Win Sectionals

Aided by strong top ten finishes by Desert Speed School athletes Kylie Wild and Benji Thomas, the Salpointe girls’ and boys’ cross-country teams won their Sectional meets and qualified for the state championship meet held in one week. Wild finished 3rd overall and Thomas 8th. Full story…

St. Cyril Wins Volleyball Title

Desert Speed School athletes Leila Lowther, Megan Muehlebach, and their St. Cyril volleyball team won the Middle School Diocese Championships recently. Entering the tournament as the #2 seed, St. Cyril defeated #1 Ss. Peter Paul in the title game to take the championship.
