As reported by AZPreps365, the Catalina Foothills girls soccer team has advanced to the state semifinals, following two overtime playoff wins – including a quarterfinal upset of #3 Millennium. The Falcons won their first-round matchup over #11 Centennial thank in large part to a deep strike by Speed School athlete Gracie Oxnam.
The team now advances to the semifinal round to take on #2 Chaparral on Wednesday with a trip to the state championship game on the line. Including Oxnam, the Foothills team includes six Desert Speed School athletes on their roster:
