As reported by Andy Morales and The Arizona Daily Star, the MLK Classic took place recently, with area teams squaring off under the lights at McKale Center. Nine Desert Speed School athletes and their respective teams took part in the event, headlined by leading scorers Clara-Mae Hager (32 points for Catalina Foothills), Leila O’Dowd (Rincon/UHS, 31 points), Caden Watkins (Sabino, 24 points), and Ben Head (Gregory School, 19 points).
