A pair of Speed School athletes picked up Southern Arizona track and field titles this past weekend, with CDO’s Mariah Santillan taking the 300m hurdles title, and freshman Emarie Sooter (above, Gregory School) clearing 9′-3″ to win the pole vault. Foothills’ Connor Cagno took 2nd in the 400m, with Bryn Callie – also from Foothills – taking 5th in the 800m. At the middle school level, Orange Grove’s Alexis Saffer (above, hurdles) prepares for the City Championship in less than a week and is currently ranked #1 in the 100m hurdles. Full story…
