Desert Speed School athletes Mason Lee and Krishna Dasika were part of the #1 Catalina Foothills state championship title, defeating #3 Salpointe in a rematch from the regular season. Salpointe star Harsh Parikh won the #1 singles match for the Lancers, keeping things close between the squads, but it was Lee – the 2018 doubles champion with teammate George Jiang – winning the doubles match and singles match to ultimately seal the title match for the Falcons.

As reported by Andy Morales, the Foothills win comes as part of a Southern Arizona sweep of the tennis championships, with the Pusch Ridge boys, Pusch Ridge girls, and Foothills girls all winning titles as well. Full story…
