Three Speed School athletes named 2016 Players of the Year

Sabino’s James Offerman and Salpointe’s Cameron Tober were each named 2016 Defensive Players of the Year at their respective 3A and 4A levels. The two defensive players join St. David quarterback Travis Davis, who was recently named the 1A Player of the Year.

Offerman, a two-way fullback/linebacker, was named the 3A Defensive Player of the Year following a season in which he averaged 10 tackles a game, along with 8 sacks on the season, and helped lead the Sabercats to the state championship game. Complete 3A All-Stars…
